Supporting confident, focused performance through intentional mental training

Mental performance coaching plays a meaningful role in my work because I understand how strongly an athlete’s mindset influences confidence, consistency, and performance. Through my own experiences in sport and performance environments, I’ve seen how having the right support can help athletes navigate pressure, setbacks, and high expectations. I believe a mental performance coach is not only someone who teaches skills, but someone who helps athletes better understand how they think, respond, and perform in demanding situations.

I am currently working toward obtaining my Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential, and my approach to mental performance coaching is grounded in a holistic view of athletic performance. I believe peak performance is supported when mental skills are trained with intention and integrated into an athlete’s daily training and competition routines. My philosophy of practice emphasizes developing self-awareness, confidence, focus, emotional regulation, and resilience in ways that align with each athlete’s unique needs, sport demands, and performance goals in both sport and life.

As a practitioner, I work with athletes to strengthen their ability to manage competitive pressure, recover from mistakes, and perform with clarity and consistency. Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, I help athletes build mental habits that support long-term development and sustainable performance. This includes learning how to regulate arousal, establish effective pre-performance routines, maintain focus in high-stress moments, and respond productively to adversity.

I work with athletes of all ages and competitive levels, from beginners learning how to navigate sport environments to advanced athletes refining their mental skills for high-performance settings. Regardless of experience level, athletes face mental demands that impact performance, and my goal is to meet each athlete where they are while supporting continued growth. I aim to create a structured and supportive environment that challenges athletes to develop confidence, composure, and trust in their abilities as they progress in their sport.

At the core of my work is the belief that mental performance skills are trainable and essential to athletic success. I strive to provide athletes with practical tools they can apply consistently in practice and competition, while fostering autonomy and confidence in their ability to self-regulate and perform under pressure. Supporting athletes as they strengthen their mindset and competitive readiness continues to fuel my passion for this field, and I am committed to helping athletes perform with intention, confidence, and resilience.
